Drupal is moving away from the low-IT skilled fans

Drupal started to prompt installation with composer for the core and modules from mid Feb 2022.

It’s difficult for people who running drupal on a shared webhosting or for organizations without Linux admin.

I’m in old school style — unzip the scripts then upload to hosting via FTP, at least I don’t need to care about the adapting the environment, which happens usually in the early age of web hosting.

Today, with the help of the web control panel, the upload of scripts is more eaiser than before, I don’t see the reason of drupal to do this.

I understand drupal has prompted their agents (Pantheon, Acquia, etc) for many years but to use composer in the whole drupal community is a big leap.
